                                         Michael Kruger,   President and Founder

The foundation of SunPod Designs is Holistic Architecture.  The Term holism ( meaning entire) is often  used in ecology , quantum physics and health science. In SunPods case, it speaks to blend the whole package of self (body, thoughts, psyche) into  the spaces we live and work in.  The design process in founded in mindfulness.  It includes the life work and humility of developing the practice , language and vision to see and express the self.  SunPod Designs promotes a design process to create spaces and finished products to promote personal growth and wellness  as much as our need for home and business.

Michael is an excellent craftsman and an inspired wood designer who has been integrating his deep understanding of wood into meaningful designs and products for 32 years.  His trade, design knowledge and mindfulness practice is the foundation of his design specialty.

In 1998, he moved to remote Cortes Island and developed a deep understanding of ecology and permaculture.  He is a fresh food advocate and a master gardener.  He established an organic plant nursery on the island and this led him to design his line of greenhouses and mini greenhouses to extend the garden season and to have more garden success. His consulting services focus on design, sustainabilty and self sufficiency ( for more info: www.sunpodgreenhouses.com ).

Now living in Victoria, Michael continues to inspire with his designs for health living and lifestyle in both residential and commercial spaces.
